Our English co-ordinator Mr Aguilera, had a great idea for World Book Day, (which in fact became World Book Week at St. Paul’s) in which he transformed the school gym into a sensory representation of the book ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen.
Teachers chipped in to help lay out and get the gym prepared all the previous week with Mrs. Grech, Mrs. Quirke, Mrs. Gomez and Mrs. Pons then joining Mr. Aguilera and Mrs. Hitchcock on a Sunday to ensure everything was ready for the children by Monday morning.
